Owen's Moving Co. offers competitive and professional furniture removal services, we are based in Palmerston North but can travel anywhere the roads take us.
OUR STANDARD RATES
$110 per hour for a 21m3 truck and 1 man crew
$160 per hour for a 21m3 truck and 2 man crew
Our trucks come equipped with a moving trolley, furniture blankets and straps etc. Diesel/mileage is also included in the standard rate.
Minimum charge of 1 hour, charged per 5 minute block after the first hour.
An out of town surcharge may apply if your move begins or ends outside of Palmerston North.
A booking deposit may be required for large or long distance moves.

SINGLE ITEM LOCAL SPECIAL RATE ~ "TRADEME PICKUPS"
We can do special rates for single furniture items, which is great if you are buying or selling something locally or on Trade Me.
*An additional charge may apply if there are staircases involved (multi-story houses only, a few steps don't count.)
*Will not always be a special/direct trip. The collection and delivery usually is, but may not always be the same day.

FURNITURE ASSEMBLY
We are happy to help with the disassembly/assembly of furniture like beds and tables, our truck carries an electric screwdriver and a basic toolkit handy for this, we only do the assembly if you request it.
Please note this is not "free after we have finished moving", our standard rate does apply.
BACKSPACE
Backspace is when we have an empty or only partly full truck traveling between towns, since we arent making a special trip for you we can provide a discount of up to %60 off!
